The East-Central Africa Division is serious about reaching the remaining unreached language groups in its territory. When the president learned that GFI Consulting could help them not only identify what language groups are found in East Africa, but also which ones are reached and which ones are not reached, he said it was providential.
First, we prepared lists and maps showing the language groups found in each constituent union in the division territory. Then, meeting with Global Mission/Adventist Mission directors from all over the division GFI Consulting helped them assess the progress of the work of the church among each and every language group.
One of the tools GFI Consulting uses is mapping. The old saying that “a picture is worth a thousand words” certainly applies to instantly seeing the status of gospel progress among all the languages in your field. Each map tells a story the observer can use to better discover a new perspective.
